About the Jacques Marie Mage Quentin SUNLimited Production Batch of 350 Pieces. Please note, all Jacques Marie Mage eyewear is final sale due to limited production.
The QUENTIN by Jacques Marie Mage are handcrafted, limited-edition glasses that celebrate the influential music, inimitable swagger, and anti-establishment ethos of Johnny Cash. The studious and structured frame, featuring hatchet-shaped front pins and unique paddle temples, is inspired by the actual eyewear worn by an inmate photographed while attending Mr. Cash's celebrated concert at San Quentin state penitentiary in 1969.
Jacques Marie Mage (JMM) is based in Hollywood, California and was founded by French-born designer Jerome Mage. Influenced by everything from Art Deco to American folk, JMM’s limited edition collections of inspired spectacles are, as they put it, ‘tailored towards a clientele with discerning tastes.’ Drawing inspiration from across continents, cultures, and generations, JMM combines world-class craftsmanship with advanced production methods, embracing an array of rich materials, bold geometric shapes, and exuberance of attitude to create impeccably crafted spectacles that elegantly infuse historical motifs with a modern sensibility.
Owning a Jacques Marie Mage frame is like owning a piece of fine art. We love their small-batch mentality and jewel box-like presentation. With a numbered certificate of authenticity and a story to tell, it’s hard to not become a collector. All Jacques Marie Mage Sunglasses come UV Protected with a backside Anti-Reflective Coating.
