Shipping Policy

FREE FedEx Shipping Worldwide on ALL products! It is our way of saying thank you for your business. We ship out FedEx Priority 2 Day Air for Domestic and FedEx Priority International to anywhere in the world for NO CHARGE! Each item is insured and once your order is processed you are provided with a tracking number. All orders are shipped out of our office Monday through Friday by 5 p.m. CST.

Please Note:


  • We make ALL packages signature required due to the value of the items we sell.
  • FedEx is unable ship to a P.O. Box. We must have a physical address for all Domestic U.S. Order.
  • We do not ship out on weekends or U.S. National Holidays.
  • If you have a special shipping request, please do not hesitate to ask.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Please note that a large part of our business is international. To accommodate our customers, we do everything we can to expedite your shipment through customs and reduce the chance of any import fees being incurred. Depending on your country's policies you may incur shipping delays and/or import duties/fees. This is not regulated by us and we are not responsible for any additional import fees that are applied by your country. Please do your research with your country's import policies to see if this even applies to you.

FedEx Priority International shipments take 5-7 business days, sometimes longer depending on your location.

Tracking: You will receive a personal tracking number from us or FedEx via email once your order has been shipped for you to personally monitor its progress in transit. (Please supply a correctly spelled email address you check regularly for this service, order corrections, status and tracking correspondence in the event we are unable to reach you by telephone to avoid delays in order fulfillment. We are not in the business of selling addresses or sending unsolicited email. We value our reputation and respect your privacy.) Please Note: In some instances, you may not always receive your tracking numbers immediately on the shipping date. That doesn't necessarily mean your order hasn't shipped, it may just mean that we haven't received that particular batch of tracking numbers from FedEx or there is a slight lag time in posting.

Change of address in transit policy: If for any reason you wish to change the shipping address while your package is in transit, this can sometimes be done depending on the package's current location. There is a fee to do this, please contact us to determine this fee.

Return Policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, ordered the wrong item or just do not want what you ordered we will happily take the item back within 30 days of you receiving your order. A small restocking fee will be applied for any items returned or exchanged ($25 for U.S. Domestic Orders, $50 for International Orders). Within 3 business days of receiving your returned order you will either be issued a refund to your original method of payment or given a store credit, it is your choice. Our goal is to make you happy!

Criteria for a return:

  • Item must be unused and unworn
  • Returned frames with added custom or prescription lenses are eligible for a 50% refund of the orginal lens price paid
  • We do not offer returns on frames that have had custom or prescription lenses attempted to be installed by another optician
  • We do not offer returns on frames custom tailored for patients (i.e. Gold & Wood PRESTIGE - Gold Pieces)
  • We do not offer returns on Limited Edition Frames, Sale Frames or Discontinued Frames
  • Please Note: This is not the Return Policy for our Chicago boutique if you decide to come into our physical store

Steps to make a return:

  • Please call or email us for a Return Authorization Number
  • All contents must be returned and in the condition we shipped it to you (i.e. frame, case, cloth, certificate, etc.)
  • Buyer is responsible for insured return shipping to the address listed below. Please Note: We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages being returned to us. We do not recommend using USPS or any standard mail to send your item back, as they are unreliable

  • INTERNATIONAL RETURNS: For ALL international returns, you must state on the shipping label contents, declaration page, country of origin and/or custom's form: "U.S. Returned Goods" with only a $1 USD value. Please Note: Failure to do this may result in additional return fees.

Online Ordering Availability

Please know that we are just as eager to fulfill your order as you are to receive it. Even though we have the image of the frame available to purchase on our website does not necessarily mean we have the frame in stock and ready to ship. If a frame should need to be special ordered it can take from 3 days to 4 weeks for our boutique to receive, depending on the availability of the item and the designer. In some instances newly released, back ordered or special/limited edition frames can take up to 4-6 weeks, sometimes longer depending on their current demand. Custom tailored frames like Gold & Wood PRESTIGE Jewelry Pieces and MATSUDA solid 18k gold frames can take up to 3 months to create as they are custom made to order specifically for each customer.

We always encourage everyone to contact us first to check frame availability prior to ordering, especially if you need your new glasses by a particular date. We are here to answer any questions you have by phone during business hours or by email at every waking hour.

Illinois Sales Tax:

We are required to charge 10.25% Sales Tax to any order shipped to the State of Illinois.
